Why Not Australia?
We would love to make Frankster shorts onshore (Australia). Because supporting local manufacturing is something we care about deeply. However, right now, it is not viable for us. The major reasons include:
- The currently limited production capacity in Australia does not meet our needs.
- The factories here cannot produce the large volumes we require quickly.
- Onshore production also comes with much higher costs i.e. it is three times more expensive.
We are still a small brand and cannot afford these costs at the moment. However, when we scale up, we plan to produce special editions locally.
